NEF’s mission is to fund projects and programs that expand educational opportunities, foster creativity, and enhance academic experiences in Northampton’s public schools.

Small Grants to Educators proposals will be judged based on how well applicants respond to the program guidelines and how clearly they have responded to application questions.

You can save your application progress and return to your application later. At the bottom of the application is a “Save” button. After selecting “Save,” you’ll have the option to sign in or sign up for a JotForm account to save your progress, or you can select “Skip Create an Account,” enter your email, and send yourself a link to continue your application later.

The Fall 2024 Small Grants application deadline was 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 for projects that begin no sooner than December 1, 2024 and are completed by June 30, 2025 (projects to occur in the 2024-2025 school year). Any applications received after the deadline will be considered for the next grant cycle.

The Spring 2025 Small Grants application deadline is 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 and is for projects that begin no sooner than July 1, 2025 and are completed by June 30, 2026 (projects to occur in the 2025-2026 school year).
