Fun Events For All
Throughout the year, Northampton Education Foundation hosts annual events to help fund various projects and school programs. These events are a great success!
Adult Spelling Bee
The Bee is a fun community event We encourage you to invite your friends and family to come and cheer for your team! Great dinner options are available at ‘Le Beestro’(by Cooper’s Corner and State Street Deli)! Dinner begins at 5:00pm (bring cash!) There will also be baked goods for sale, and Herrell’s ice cream!
Plant Sale
The plant sale raises money for books and online resources for the Northampton Public Schools and Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School (now its own district). Schools use their allotted money to diversify their curriculum offerings, add high interest stories to libraries, strengthen the nonfiction resources in libraries, provide additional books when enrollment increases, and add supplemental texts to enrich students’ learning experiences or to assist those with special needs.
Showcase Event
Join the Northampton Education Foundation (NEF) on Arts Night Out Northampton at the Center for the Arts Building on Hawley Street for an amazing showcase of some of the incredible projects funded through our Endowment Fund and Small Grants! Join us for some light snacks and meet people making a difference in our local Northampton Public Schools – Massachusetts!
Trivia Bee
Join our hosts, The Trivia Brothers, to enjoy family-friendly fun, win prizes, and support our community schools! Our virtual bee is all the buzz!
$25 to play solo or on a team! Money raised helps Northampton Education Foundation support innovative projects in our public schools.
